Link sharing and when to use it

Everything you keep on ibi is stored in a secure and private location, and you always have complete control over what you share and with whom. For this reason, ibi offers several different ways to share, ranging from sharing all your content with a select ‘inner circle’ or just sharing individual files. You can invite people to collaborate with you, adding their own comments and/or sharing their own content, or you can keep them as ‘view only.’ It’s always up to you as the primary account owner.

To offer more control over what you share and with whom, ibi also lets you immediately share specific files or albums using a private link. This is convenient when you have a photo or video you want to share with someone who’s not a part of your inner circle—for example, a coworker or a casual acquaintance.

• To share with private links, select the photos or videos you’d like to share.
• Click ‘share photos’ and then ‘send link.’
• You will be prompted to share through your favorite app—such as text, email or Facebook.
• The recipient does not need to have any kind of account to see your photos or collaborate on your albums.
• Link sharing can be done with individual files, folders or albums.
• You can always add to shared albums and folders and they will automatically be viewable via the Shared link. 
• Shared links can also be deleted when you decide you no longer want to share.
